Rowing Ireland is pleased to announce that the following crews have been selected to represent Ireland at the forthcoming European Rowing Championships to be held in Montemor-o-Velho, Portugal from 10th to 12th September.

FISA World Under 23 Rowing Championships - Draw made

Lightweight men's coxless pair of Anthony English (UCDBC) and Peter Hanily (St. Michaels) are first off in tomorrows heat at 09:18 BST. Places 1-2 go straight to semi finals. The rest to repechages. Heat contestants MDA, IRL, HKG, BLR

Following on at 09:36 is the heat of the men's lightweight quadruple sculls with Ireland's entry consisting of Justin Ryan (UCCBC), Mark O'Donovan (Skibbereen), Michael Maher (Commercial), and Niall Kenny (NUIG). Heat contestants GER, GRE, SVK, IRL, FRA with 1-3 to semi-finals, rest to repechage

Lisa Dilleen (Tribesmen) races at 10:06 BST Heat Contestants GBR, IRL, EST, NOR, SRB with 1-2 to semi-finals, rest to reps.

Ireland's final interest of the day is the Lightweight women's double scull with Sarah Dolan (DULBC) and Claire Lambe (UCDLBC). Heat contestants CAN, ESP, ROU, IRL, DEN. 1-3 to semi-finals, rest to repechages.

FISA World Under 23 Rowing Championships, Belarus, 22-25 July

The following boats will compete for Team Ireland at the forthcoming FISA World Under 23 championships to be held from July 22nd to July 25th in Brest, Belarus.
