Team Support
Aside from coaches and athletes, there are many different roles that need to be fulfilled in the team. The Rowing Ireland team welcome offers of help and support in a wide variety of roles. If you have a skill and some time that you wish to offer let us know. Where we have a specific requirement we'll list it below. If you can help let us know.
Trailer Drivers
Throughout the summer months, Rowing Ireland teams travel to competitions across Europe. The logistics of boats, flights, hotels, etc. all have to work smoothly so that our teams can stay focussed on what they have to do.
Trailer drivers require at least a category EB licence to drive our current vehicle combination. Duties include driving, loading, team support during training and regattas. This is a voluntary role, expenses only are covered.
